Reminder: mandatory Yukon First Nations 101 course

Physicians must complete the Yukon First Nations 101 course before March 31, 2022 in order to obtain or renew a medical licence in the Yukon.
Once you complete the course, please send a copy of your certificate to
Course substitutions
Course substitutions will not be considered. You must complete the YFN 101 course to fulfill the requirement. YMC will not recognize other courses on Indigenous issues for the purpose of this requirement.
Who must complete the course
Any physician who sees Yukon patients, including both resident and non-resident physicians, locums and visiting specialists.
Who is exempt from the requirement
- Licensees on the Educational Register, such as medical students and post-graduate students.
- Licensees who do not see patients for in-person visits, such as out of territory radiologists with no in-person patient contact.
